Obama warns Koran-burning would boost al Qaeda GAINESVILLE, Florida (Reuters) – President Barack Obama warned on Thursday that an obscure U.S. Christian pastor's plan to burn the Koran could provoke al Qaeda suicide bombings, as international pressure mounted on Washington to step in. A suicide car bomber hit the central market of a major city in Russia's North Caucasus on Thursday, killing at least 15 and wounding more than 100 people in one of the worst terror attacks in the volatile region in years, officials said.
