Job Profile:
• Assist Controller in managing areas of general accounting including: invoicing and timely collections, bank reconciliations, job costing, payroll, managing inter and intra company transfers, communicating with operations personnel, and for payables and payments;
• Project costing and analysis
• Ensure timely preparation of accurate account reconciliations and analysis of account balances and preparation of monthly reporting package
• Monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Assistance preparing and analyzing monthly, and annual operating results
• Work with the Controller to define, measure, analyze improve and control current processes which impact customer quality and influence internal operating efficiency
• Provide assistance to the Controller with other projects as necessary
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record demonstrating the following qualifications:
• Track record of hands-on work experience
• Demonstrated ability to work and adapt quickly in an environment that is dynamic and fast paced
• Prior accounting experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong computer skills required
• Must be designated CGA, CMA or CA
