Canadian owned and operated manufacturer of high quality metal furniture and store fixtures is seeking an organized, self-motivated individual for the position of Fabrication Technologist.
Applicant must posses the following qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in metal store fixture and furniture.
Familiar with Cutting, Punch/Press, Forming, Welding and Assembly methods
Design Drafting:
? Able to interpret sketches, read blueprints, do take-offs and costing for metal shop processes
? Proficient with Solidworks; 3D CAD Modeling to 2D Drawings
? Produce complete and accurate shop drawings with appropriate views and Bills of Materials
Work Order Coordination:
? Liaison with customer from concept to P.O.
? Assure that Order requirements are met at every process and provide supporting documentation
? Solve problems and lead the initiative to resolution

? Can work Independently and works well within a team
? Excellent communications skills; comfortable interacting at all levels with customers, suppliers and peers
? High level of personal commitment to the growth and development of the company
? Must have own car
