Production Accountant

Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Production Accounting, this role is responsible for the monthly production and revenue accounting for various food service products

Responsibilities:

•Collecting and Processing field data for the monthly production/revenue cycle
•Perform plant allocations with sales allocation, volumetric data and revenue/royalty information and provide to all industry partners (government and business)
•Calculation and payment of various Royalties
•Create and record third party processing charges
•Perform revenue account reconciliation
•Gather partner operated volumes and book revenue
•Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

•Minimum 3+ years experience in a Operated Production Accounting role
•Undergraduate degree or accounting designation is an asset
•Knowledge of the Food Service Industry an asset
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
•Must be a team player, high level achiever and results driven
