Offering in Toronto - GTA, Ontario, Canada : Property Management Accountant

Description

We require an experienced qualified accountant in Property Management for Commercial/Industrial buildings using Newstar software. We may consider a candidate with solid experience with another similar property management software providing they know how to do Common Area Maintenance Tenant Statements and Property Management year ends and are able to quickly pick up the same concept but using different software. The candidate must be qualified as training will be bare minimum.

The job covers Common Area Maintenance Tenant Statements and Property Management year ends consisting of the following:

- bank reconciliations

- accrual/adjusting entries

- analysis of accounts

- verifying leases have been set up correctly

- various account reconciliations on Quattro Pro (similar to Excel)

- calculating CAM Budgets/Actuals through Newstar reports and spreadsheets

- calculating and invoicing CAM Actual balance and CAM Retroactive increases

- manually calculating interest on late payments and invoicing the tenant

- Management Fee reconciliation

- putting package together to send to tenant

- putting package together to send to accountant

- must be accurate, able to work intelligently, quickly and independently, and a fast learner
