Public Relations Internship

We are the worlds First Corporate Sponsored FREE professional Recording studio for Youth.
The Primary position is Public relations representative. Like all organizations there are a wide variety of jobs that will be assigned to keep the project moving forward. It is our goal to turn the recording studio, into a web broadcast station.
We are dedicated to giving you the experience that is exactly what employers are looking for in exchange for you supporting our Non Profit Youth Studio with a commitment to excellence. This is a Non paying internship that has a track record of extremely rewarding experience. We have a very good record of successfully placing out interns into careers.

INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The intern will participate in using social media to bolster the image and reach potential clients, and sponsers. Specific tasks are given below.
. Set up Facebook, Twitter, Myspace accounts for studio and manage social networking activities
. Monitor social networking sites to add new contacts and to maximize outreach
. Writing press releases and articles about artist and their upcoming activity that will be used for social networking sites, blogs, and local and national print media
. Responding to public relations inquiries
. Assembling press kits
. Develop knowledge of press roll out
. Provide administrative support
for social networking pages and YouTube, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
Any post secondary degree and/or certification in thie field is appreciated and respected. However the right attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment will be equally respected.
DESIRED SKILL SET:
. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
. Interest in the music industry
-Proficiency in online communications, through networking
