Vanier College Productions 40th Anniversary Season continues with its annual musical theatre production: The Drowsy Chaperone. Music and Lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar.

Tony Award-winning Canadian musical, The Drowsy Chaperone , takes you into the apartment of the "Man in Chair" as he goes through his record collection to escape his blues. He finds his record, "The Drowsy Chaperone", and guides the audience through as the story "comes to life" inside his apartment. In a hilarious send-up of musical theatre from the 1920s, Robert Martin, a handsome bachelor, is about to marry Broadway star, Janet Van De Graaff, who has to choose between him and the stage. However, the producer Feldzieg will do all he can to stop the wedding from happening, so Van De Graaff can return to his "Follies".
