This moving, funny, and uplifting production, that won four Tony® Awards including BEST MUSICAL, is about a community of hard-working immigrants seeking a better life and trying to find their place - their home - in their new country. IN THE HEIGHTS invites you to a place you've probably never been, but which you'll recognize immediately. The show is set in a Latino neighbourhood in the Washington Heights section of New York City, where the residents move to the sounds of hip hop and Latin music. But their stories and hopes and dreams cut across race and ethnicity, and are instantly familiar. They sometimes sing or speak in Spanish, but their thoughts and emotions are so clear that even those of you who don't speak the language will think you're bilingual!
