Founded in 1913, Crescent School, Toronto is a boys' day school from grades 3 - 12. A leader in boys' education, Crescent is committed to developing Men of Character from Boys of Promise. A Crescent education is exciting, fulfilling and broad. Your son will be challenged intellectually, artistically and athletically through rigorous and creative curriculum and an extensive co-curricular programme.

Crescent's core values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Compassion form the cornerstone of all our endeavours.
Crescent School provides a rigorous academic programme within a highly supportive environment. It is important to us that every student has the opportunity to succeed in a programme that not only provides access to a wide range of highly selective university programmes, but more importantly, provides the necessary preparation to thrive once admitted.

Crescent follows—or exceeds—the expectations of the Ministry of Education for Ontario. Crescent School is accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education and the Canadian Educational Standards Institute. Upon graduation, our students are awarded the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Crescent provides a rich and varied programme: there are more than 70 courses offered in the Upper School, each at the highest level (Open/Academic/University or University/College Preparation).

In addition to the Ontario curriculum, we also offer courses that prepare students for 13 Advanced Placement (AP) credits. Students who do well on their AP examinations can earn university credits or placement into second year. Ninety per cent of our 2010-2011 graduation class has chosen to participate in the AP programme.

Crescent School has a long-standing reputation as a first-rate university feeder school. History has shown that Crescent students are extremely well prepared. The vast majority of our graduates win acceptance into the university and programme of their first choice. The school is justly proud of its fine academic reputation.
