We are a ministry-inspected private school, in Toronto offering full-time and part-time studies to high school students, from grades 9 to 12, in the greater Toronto area. Part-time credits are offered days, evenings, weekends, and during the summer. Our school resides in a comfortable and modern building, in the heart of North York.
A more intimate private school
All of our students sit at the front of the class. Our day school only accepts 24 day students per year. With a maximum student to teacher ratio of 8:1, you will never feel like you're being left behind. Guidance and career counselling are only a few steps away. Our teachers are enthusiastic, driven, professional, and in touch with today's student.
Don Valley Academy offers a full curriculum day program for high school students, from grades 9 to 12. Its purpose is to prepare students for post-secondary studies.
Our Approach
Don Valley Academy is dedicated to providing a program that meets the needs of each individual student. Whether the student needs extra attention, or is gifted and requires a challenge, the school provides a personalized approach, so that the student may attain his or her goals. Particular focus is given to developing and refining study skills and research techniques, as well as improving motivation and time management.

A class at Don Valley Academy is not a place where course material is merely presented to them, but a place where they engage explicitly with their own learning processes.
