Leo Baeck is a Reform Jewish Day School where families, professionals and Board members strive together to create a child-centred learning environment in which each student experiences a multi-faceted educational program.

Our students are prepared to be practising liberal Jews and to participate effectively in a complex, ever-changing Canadian society.
The Leo Baeck Day School is a Reform Jewish Day School and an authorized International Baccalaureate World School, a designation reflected in our innovative pedagogy. We work to create a child-centred environment where each student's learning style is nurtured and students learn to think critically and make positive choices. In preschool, children learn to get along with peers while developing early literacy and numeracy.

In Grades 1-5, the day is divided into thirds: one third English Language Arts, one third Math, Science and Social Studies, and one third Hebrew/Judaic Studies. Music, Art, Drama, Technology, French and Physical Education are integrated, providing an enriched learning experience. Our Middle School, comprising Grades 6 to 8, includes an advisor program, block scheduling and opportunities for students to practice self-governance and philanthropy. Students participate in our community through service and tzedakah projects along with sports events(in both Jewish and independent school leagues), music groups and celebrations.
