Job Description:
We are looking for an accounting technician for our mid sized CA firm.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Notice to Reader and Review Engagement files (this includes drafting financing statements in accordance with GAAP where necessary, all supporting working papers and schedules, adapting any adjustments and preparation of the corporate tax return)
- Preparation of personal and trust tax returns
- Preparation and review of T4 & T5 information returns
- Providing day to day support as a valuable resource to your clients
Qualifications:
- Working towards CGA level 4 and/or PACE
REQUIRED - Minimum 2 years public accounting firm experience
(only those with public accounting firm experience will be considered)
- Experience using Caseview/Caseware and Profile software
- Experience using Quickbooks or Simply Accounting
- Ability to multi-task and deal with competing deadlines for multiple partners while offering quality client service
- Ability to independently interact with clients to resolve accounting issues
