Our client is a supplier to the automotive sector and a leader in the production of assemblies and modules, and fluid management systems. Their philosophy is that the future growth of the corporation is in the development of their employees. They are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team.
SALARY RANGE: $50,000.00 - $80,0000.00
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
? Analyze data and identify root causes of defects.
? Provide corrective action to improve a particular process or product yield
? Assess and implement improvement projects relating to current or future project planning
? Improve efficiency of processes through cycle time analysis and time studies
? Improve the production process by using 5S, Root-Cause Analysis, and Poka-Yoke methodologies to improve the quality of products, reduce scrap and eliminate waster
? Oversee ergonomics of the plant and guide the team to improve work centres
? Assist in developing P.F.M.E.A. / F.M.E.A. / P.C.P / and P.F.D?s
? Update program documentation and procedure manuals
? Develop manufacturing methods, labour utilization standards and cost analysis stsems
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Post Secondary Education in either Engineering or Manufacturing
? 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
? Proficient in Microsoft Office ? Excel, Word and Powerpoint
? Knowledge of technical specialties, capable of working with moderately complex procedures
? Extensive knowledge of CAD software ? AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, UG
WORKING CONDITIONS:
? 50% Office environment, 50% Plant floor (Personal Protection Equipment required)
? Must be willing to live in Europe for a minimum of three years
