Our client is a supplier to the automotive sector and a leader in the production of assemblies and modules, and fluid management systems. Their philosophy is that the future growth of the corporation is in the development of their employees. They are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team.
SALARY RANGE: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
? Trouble shooting root cause analysis and SPC data analysis
? Implement and maintain documentations related to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documentation
? Conduct and lead in the improvement of capability studies and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (R & R) analysis
? Coordinate and participate in the Team Oriented Problem Solving ? corrective and preventive actions)
? Participate and coordinate APQP
? Coordinate Production Part Approval Process submissions
QUALIFICATIONS:
? College courses in Quality related discipline
? Minimum 3 ? 4 years of experience in a similar role
? Strong knowledge of blue print reading interpretation of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
? Proficient in the use of measuring equipment such as venires, micrometer, height gauges, profile projector, etc.
? Proficient in the understanding and use of Statistical process control (SPC), Stamping and Welding processes
? Strong communication skills in English ? both verbal and written
? Proficient in MS Office
? Excellent time management skills
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
? 80% office, 20% plant floor ? Person Protection Equipment required
? Must be willing to live in Europe for a minimum of 3 years
