Why Quartz Countertops?
Quartz is a manufactured product and can be very attractive, as the process allows a much wider range of colours than youll find in natural stones such as marble. The appearance of the finished engineered stone is rich and has a depth that cant be produced with solid surface materials.
Quartz has the same durability as concrete and granite, but is quite a bit more forgiving, so it wont chip or crack as easily. It doesnt have the same hardness in the feel that some people find unpleasant.
Like other hard surface countertop materials, quartz is non-porous so it resists staining much better than marble and concrete.
Why Granite Countertops?
Granite is the hardest of natural stones.
Granite is timeless. Not a "trendy" countertop material · Natural stone has been used throughout the centuries and maintains its "timeless beauty".
Heat Resistance. Unlike man-made surfaces, granite is extremely resistant to heat and scratching when exposed to hot pots and pans.
Scratch Resistant. Granite resists scratching and chipping from knives and kitchen utensils.
Naturally Unique. Fabricated in-house, our granite countertops have an elegant natural appearance created from a crystallization process in nature that took millions of years to complete. Each piece of granite has a unique look.
Long-lasting polished finish. The crystal-like appearance combined with a high-quality sealant keeps granite countertops shining for years.
