The Abelard School is a small private school in downtown Toronto offering advanced university preparation to gifted and motivated students in grades 9 to 12.
The Abelard School offers a coherent and integrated four year program leading to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Our courses are taught at an enriched level, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered in Grade 12.
By the completion of their Abelard education, students will have studied the literature, history, philosophy, political ideologies, and sciences of each of the following periods: the Ancient World, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and Reformation, the Age of Reason, the Era of Revolutions, and the Contemporary World.
